Canolfan Y Fron Community Centre
With Dobson:Owen’s assistance and expertise in Community Architecture, this volunteer community group won a £1m lottery bid to transform a closed primary school in the village of Y Fron, into a vibrant new community centre, with cafe and community shop, changing rooms and an 18-bed bunkhouse.
The practice started the production information stage in order to meet the challenge of the tight programme, which must see the complex remodelling and extension work to this Victorian school building completed and the community centre up and running by the end of summer 2018.
